Following the excitement of the recent All
Africa Poker Tournament, which was hosted at Piggs Peak Casino earlier
in June 2007, poker fans have awaited the announcement of the next
tournament in anticipation. To satisfy the queries from keen
participants, the organizers have announced that a date for the
R2,350,000 All Africa Freeze-Out Poker Tournament has been set!
The
10th All Africa Poker Tournament, which will be run in a Freeze-Out
format, will be held from
16th to 18th August 2007
at Piggs Peak Hotel and Casino,
Swaziland. The
prize pool of over
Two Million Rand – so true to it’s reputation; will once again be one of
Africa’s richest poker tournaments!
The
Main Event prize winner will receive R1 Million, plus all top ten
finalists will, in addition to their prize money, win an exclusive
package to the Sun City Million
Dollar Poker Challenge, to be held in September.
In recognition of the
achievement of lady participants, Piggs Peak has allocated an additional
prize of a package to the Sun City Million Dollar Poker Challenge to the
top placed lady player.
The popular Second Chance
Tournament will also be held with a guaranteed R250,000 prize pool, and
the top placed player will win packages to the Sun City Million Dollar
Poker Challenge.
